This was a corporate assessment to determine if the applicant had the initiative and could work well on her own.
This candidate met the core competencies for the role.
Overview of the Writing
For this sample of writing, it is evident that Karen is an independent person, and I can see this from her upright slant, and her legible signature. For confidentiality and privacy reasons, a signature is not included.
Initiative
The first letter of each word was examined to assess the applicants spontaneity and whether she responded to conflict in a proactive or reactive manner. Her writing showed that she is both spontaneous, proactive, and self-motivated. This was determined by examining her speed, legibility, spaces between words, baseline, rhythm, and her margins.
Thought Processes
The speed of her writing was an indicator of quick thought processes. However, it was evident that speed could sometimes be forfeited in her quest to be thorough. Her excellent attention to detail and logical clear thinking made her an excellent candidate for this role which required initiative and independence.
Self-motivation
The applicant’s writing showed that she is striving, idealistic, and a perfectionist and these qualities served as her motivators in working well on her own.
